We all desire a spotless shower, but who has the time and energy to spend hours scrubbing and scraping? It's not me, that's for sure. My aim was to simplify this task and make it as effortless as possible. I'm excited to share with you my favorite effortless shower cleaning products that are not only easy to use but also highly effective. Discover the must-have products of this year that you simply can't afford to miss out on if you want to have a sparkling bathroom without putting in too much effort.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Bars
What do these amazing bars not do? Discovering these bad boys work for cleaning bathrooms as well as everything else has made cleaning the shower a breeze! If you know me, you know I use these to clean everything around my house from sneakers to walls. Especially, my favorite thing about these is not having to use a spray product with strong fumes, compared to some shower products. Plus, they wipe away water stains or soap scum off of tiles with ease.
The Pink Stuff Miracle Bathroom Foam Cleaner
Pink stuff is what you need to clean away heavy-duty limescale buildup. Its not a product everyday but when you need are battling buildup you need to give this a try. Additionally, the foam stays where you spray it, soaking into the grime instead of running and dripping. I like to spray and leave for a few minutes, and then just wipe it down. Equally important to buildup removing this will leave no streaks!
Microban
Not only does Microban remove scummy buildup in your shower, but it also disinfects shower surfaces for up to 24 hours from bacteria. AND that's not all. For up to 7 days, it is working to reduce mold and mildew growth. You know your shower is cleaner-for longer!
OXO Squeegee
Glass showers are notorious for holding on to water spots. Running a squeegee over the glass quickly after a shower will drastically reduce water spots. I am all about a quick way to reduce cleaning and make my shower glass sparkle.
Black and Decker Grimebuster Power Scrubber
Work smarter not harder! I love using a scrubber for weekly deep cleans. This power scrubber removes shower grime on tile or grout much more efficiently than hand scrubbing. So save your elbow grease for somewhere else-its not needed here.
Microfiber Cloths
The most basic but most used product I love. You can't have too many of these for all your cleaning projects. I love using them on all my glass as they leave a cleaner, streak-free shine vs. paper towels. Plus, they are reusable and more economical!
Natural/DIY Options
Besides storebought products, there are DIY cleaning options that work great on showers too. Common reasons to make DIY cleaning products are because you know what ingredients are in them, it's more economical, and they are usually don't produce as many toxic fumes. Generally DIY cleaners cost around $.30 instead of $4.00 for an average size bottle.
Finally, a favorite that I use ALL the time is a 50/50 mixture of vinegar (any kind) and Dawn dish soap. You will always find a spray bottle of this mixture in my cleaning products. It works fantastic to clean showers because it takes off the hard water stains and soap scum off glass and tile, without scrubbing. Afterwards, I suggest wiping the glass down drying it for a streak-free shine.
Distilled water and vinegar makes a general purpose window/glass cleaner that leaves a streak-free shine. Mix this like above with a 50/50 ratio. Why distilled water works best, is because it doesn't leave mineral deposits on the glass like tap water will. Do your research, but for myself, I only use this on glass mirrors or windows, not on my marble countertops as I feel the vinegar is too harsh. Just something to keep in mind.
