It’s hard to believe that it’s finally happening! We’re so excited to announce we’re launching our own home store, Desert Living Style! It feels surreal to be at this point after all the hard work. We’ve been working on this project behind the scenes for so long, and its been so hard not being able to share it with you. Like anything you work hard for, it holds a special place in our hearts. For months, we have been working tirelessly selecting products, taking our own photos, creating logos, and choosing color schemes, all the while remaining true to our vision-authenticity above all. We feel this is an authentic evolution of the Gal With Style blog and have made many hard choices in order to remain true to our brand.
While the market is saturated with a myriad of choices for home goods, we wanted to focus on
artisanal items that are not mass-produced, but instead are meaningful and bring joy to everyday rituals-items that nourish your soul. Although our (very) small, curated collection is just over 30 products now, we are expanding our selection slowly as we discover products that speak to us and are authentic and align with our vision and brand.
The Desert Living Style collection is full of unique pieces that spark conversations and create connection. Pieces that can be mixed with other home elements, pieces that can be repurposed into any room of your home. Pieces that have a story.
Our inspiration are the understated colors, textures and rugged beauty of the southwest, the place most dear to our hearts, from the striking deserts, to the dramatic canyons. We want our products to incorporate rough, organic textures, and wood elements found in nature. Focusing on muted earthy neutrals from the soft green of saguaros to the grays of the layers of mountain ranges in the evening desert, such as our
best sellers.
